For today's maths I want us to practise using a different way of drawing and seeing multiplication. Up until now we have mainly used arrays, and they're great, but today's lesson will teach you how to use what you know about arrays to make a bar model, which can be more useful sometimes.

Once you've finished the questions at the end of the video, here is a worksheet to try out some of your own bar models.

For a next step challenge, can you use your bar models to also write the inverse division number sentences.
