Hello happy Hedgehogs. First of all, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent in some of your home learning work to me the past few days. I've received so much and I've loved seeing it. I'm also making a special effort to reply to all the emails I receive with some feedback for you all of what I liked and what you can do to make it even better, just like we do in school. Tomorrow, on Friday 8th, (and every Friday whilst you are doing home-learning) I will be phoning each of you to say hello and see how you're all getting on with your home learning. On this Friday, it will also be a chance for me to have a consultation with parents, to talk about how children have been getting on so far this year. Just to forewarn you, I will be calling from a withheld number. I will try and call all year 4s by midday and then the year 3s in the afternoon.

Word of the day will have to work a little differently for now, as I can't tell you it without you knowing how to spell it. So here is the new, temporary way we will do Word of the day:
Step 1: read the word
Step 2: cover it up and write it correctly 5 times.
Step 3: for an added challenge write it backwards.
