Today in science we are looking at the life cycle of an Emperor Penguin. 

 a life cycle shows the different stages of something’s life. It is called a cycle as normally it goes round in a circle.

Have a look at the power point below and then complete the activity.

The work sheet below is for all children although each year group will do it slightly differently. 

Year 1:

You will need to cut the pictures out and stick them in the right order. If you can I would also like you to label what happens at each stage. 

Year 2: 

You will also need to cut the pictures and put them in the correct order, as well as label what happens at each stage. I would also like you to write one or two sentences about what happens at each stage.
