An Exceptional Place to Flourish

“Be Silly, Be Honest, Be Kind.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Let's start Friday off with a story!

The Reluctant Dragon 🐲

Can you make a paper footprint.

Draw around your foot carefully using a pen or pencil and a piece of paper.

Can you find items which are:

Longer than your foot?

 Shorter than your foot?

About the same size as your foot?

Ask your family if your can draw round their feet. Can you order the footprints from smallest to biggest?

So we have already learnt one new sound this week. Today we are going to be learning another new sound...

Now this sound can be pronounced in two ways. There is a long oo sound and a short oo sound.

Short SoundLong Sound
