Dr Walker's Church of England Primary School

An Exceptional Place to Flourish

Hello wonderful Caterpillars today for maths I would like you to practise writing numbers. It's important that we form our numbers correctly. Have a listen to these rhymes below to help you.

Today for phonics I have got a super fun activity for you to play. It's phonics snakes and ladders! Play with a family member and fingers crossed you win!

Finger Gym

Hi Caterpillars, have a go at this extra finger gym activity. This is great for pencil control.

Watch this lesson with Mrs Wright. This lesson focuses on developing the singing voice through voice-play.

Competition Time!

We would like all pupils to make a drawing on one of the following topics:

  • “I like my school.”
  • Nature (e.g. flowers, animals, rainbow, etc.)
  • What makes me happy and smile?
  • Things I like to learn about (e.g. the 50 experiences in school).
  • Living in the UK (e.g. buses, trains, Churches, Big Ben, London landmarks, etc.).
  • School values
  • British Values

You can use colouring in pencils, felt tip pens or paint! I know you will draw some fabulous pictures as we are such a creative class!
