An Exceptional Place to Flourish
Today we will be using the work we did yesterday and completing the story map.
However before we start there is just one more skill that I would like to briefly look at. This is the skill to add time adverbs or conjunctions to your writing.
A time adverb will describe when things are done, for example;
Firstly the children rode their bikes.
At the end of the day they needed to put the bikes away.
A time conjunction is used to show that events are moving on within a sentence, for example;
The children went to lunch, after lunch they came inside and did the register.
I took my dog for a walk, then I made myself some lunch.
